Top 10 Best Mascaras On The Market –
I have spent hours wandering around countless drug stores searching high and low for the perfect mascara. The mascara that I want to rock my world just wouldn’t show itself to me, I suspected all the women I had to battle through to reach the mascara counters were hiding it from me.
After hours of sweat, blood and tears and the occasional shove to get to the front of the crowds, I have found you the Top 10 Best Mascaras Out There. Enjoy!
1 #Too Faced Better Than False Lashes Instant Lash Extension Kit
I won’t lie, I originally bought this mascara purely for the name ‘Too Faced’. I don’t believe high end, expensive products are always the best and this product honestly took me a while to buy. However, after so many good reviews I bit the bullet and decided to buy in to the brand.
Now, it wouldn’t be in my top 10 Best Mascaras if it wasn’t any good so, naturally it is fantastic. I love the duo-fiber spiral brush to capture every last lash and advanced sculpting nylon fibers for an extreme length. It gives it a nice touch. I guess this mascara isn’t very practical for everyday use as we don’t all have time on a morning to apply two coats of mascara. However, it’s a lovely gift to yourself and it does a brilliant job, especially if you have little to no lashes.
2 # Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara
I won’t lie, I found this in my mums makeup bag and smothered my eyelashes in it and when I loved it I decided to buy it (what? a girls got to be resourceful!)
It’s a lot cheaper than you would think and does the job. It creates a ‘false lash effect’ and is cheap enough to not feel guilty when you smudge and waste a bit of it, oh wait it’s smudge proof!! could this mascara get any better?
3 # Rimmel Wonder’ Full Mascara
This is the mascara i’m using at the minute. I love it, it makes my eyelashes really spread out and become their own being, it isn’t clumpy and it lasts all day, unless I start rubbing my eyes and end up with it all over my cheeks. Never a good look.
It’s a cheap, drug store find and I will definitely be re-purchasing when mine runs out.
4 # BENEFIT COSMETICS they’re real!mascara beyond mascara
I bought this Benefit Mascara when it was on sale here in the UK. I love bargains and I was literally dying to try this mascara out so, I thought ‘Hey, why not?’
I love what this mascara does to my lashes and for once and I don’t feel guilty for buying a brand that is quite largely over budget. I would re-purchase even when it’s not on sale purely for the natural, yet not natural at all look it does to my eyelashes. It’s definitely an everyday mascara.
5 # BENEFIT COSMETICS roller lash super-curling & lifting mascara
Zoella jumped and bought this mascara so, I bought this mascara. That is quite honestly the truth but, before she had it I wanted it, I promise.
If you haven’t tried it yet, the hype is real. It does what it says on the beautiful, pink cylinder package. There really is no need for an eyelash curler as this little thing does it all for you. It’s like everything i have ever wanted a mascara to do.
6 # MAC Mascara Extended play lash longueur et definition
MAC, MAC, MAC my one true love/hate relationship. I am never sure if I love MAC too much or hate how over hyped its products are but, this mascara made its way in to my Top 10 because, obviously..I loved it.
There’s not too much I can say about this mascara except that I waited ages in line to buy it and thankfully loved it.
7 # Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Lash Extending Treatment Mascara
Now, I don’t know if anyone else feels this way about Elizabeth Arden but, I certainly feel like it has a reputation for being an ‘older generations’ kind of brand. I can’t help but feel i’m not the only one who thinks this and although i have tried and tested a lot of their products, my mum just seems to get on better with them (sorry mum).
This doesn’t mean it’s a bad brand nor does it mean it doesn’t do the job I just feel it isn’t directed towards 20 somethings. Anyone else?
Although I do love this mascara and it contains all sorts of vitamins and good stuff to help ‘reinforce and restore lashes’ natural protective barrier’. It’s so cheap for how good it is which is always a reason to buy..
8 # YSL Volume Effect Mascara
Is it the best mascara in the world? No. Does it give you an intensified, false lash effect? Yes. I couldn’t possibly say it was the best mascara in the world because it wouldn’t be fair on the others and if i’m totally honest the best mascara in the world needs to be able to feed me chocolate and make me coffee in bed before I would give it that kind of recognition.
YSL never seems to disappoint (when it does, i’ll let you all know and we can all cry together) It’s a fabulous mascara and i’m starting to wonder why i have only just bought it.
9 # Soap & Glory Thick and Fast Mascara
Something you need to know about me is that I am in love with ‘Soap & Glory’ they just don’t know they are in love with me yet. I do have a few issues with them though that may not know if you haven’t read This article yet.
I was super excited when they brought out their mascara as I have only ever been able to lather myself in their body products. So, when I was able to lather my face in their beauty range, I was beyond happy.
This mascara is one of my favorites, I love how it makes my eyelashes look, which is the main objective after all. It’s also not as pricey as you would think and if you’re in to names then pulling out the ‘Thick and Fast’ Mascara is guaranteed to get you noticed.
10 # Bobbi Brown No Smudge Mascara
Me and Bobbi go way, way back…We don’t really! Even so, I don’t need to pretend I know all these people and pretend to be in the ‘it crowd’ to tell you if somethings good or bad. In this case it’s good, very very good however, this isn’t always the case so, be warned.
Back to the mascara that I got for Christmas. I wouldn’t personally have chosen the mascara, simply because I don’t really use Bobbi Brown products but, that cheeky devil made his way in to my Top 10 Best mascaras. This mascara is smudge proof and provides a generous coating to lashes, giving them a fuller, thicker look.
