10 Ways To Look And Feel Good Without Makeup
I am obsessed with makeup. Wearing it, looking at it, talking about it and the list goes on. I used to wear makeup every single day of my life, not a day went by when I didn’t not wear it. Even to just lounge around the house, it was on.
That all changed only a few months ago when I started, for the first time in my whole life began really breaking out. It had nothing whatsoever to do with my makeup, in fact I still haven’t gotten to the bottom of why it is happening to me but, I know that adding makeup to the top of these breakouts probably wasn’t helping…
For the first time ever I had to start accepting my face without makeup in order to start clearing up my spots or at least not making them any worse. I learnt some valuable life lessons and how to look and feel good without makeup.
1 . Wash your face every morning and night. Keep it glowing and clean with the help of soap, scrubs or any other face wash you have.
2. Keep your eyebrows trimmed and neat. They seriously change the shape of your face and can give your face an instant lift.
3. Wash your hair routinely. If your hair is looking fine, you will feel fine.
4. Drink tons of water. I drink around 2 liters a day. It keeps your skin fresh and healthy and can also help clear up and prevent breakouts.
5. Keep your nails trimmed and clean.
6. Spritz your face with some toner every morning. It helps your face glow. I use this toner (EU – US)
7. Moisturize your face daily. Nobody wants dry looking skin, you want fresh, healthy skin
8. Use eye gels and natural moisturizers to naturally reduce redness and dark circles.
9. Keep your teeth clean and fresh, brush them 3 times a day and use floss and mouth wash.
10. Get plenty of sleep. Getting the right amount of sleep, wakes up your skin and reduces the appearance of dull and tired skin.
It’s a harsh reality that a lot of us don’t feel good without makeup, including me. But by taking time off even a few days a week you can learn to love and embrace your natural beauty, because we all have one.
Start accepting your face for what it really is and I promise you, you will start feeling more confident, happy and self-accepting.
Have a great day,
