Top 5 DIY hair conditioners
#1 – Is Coconut Oil Really The Best?
Coconut oil is used for a million things right now, but trust me it does amazing things to your head.
If you’re like me and have quite an oily hair type I wouldn’t recommend applying it to the top of your head as it can make it quite greasy so, what I did was take a generous amount to the ends of my hair and lathered them up for about an hour. The longer the better in this case. Once the hour is up, wash it off and thank me for how fabulous your hair now looks.
I found some online:

#2 – But is Honey and Olive Oil Better?
It does work I promise! this isn’t just some evil plan to get you pouring oil all over your head. All you need is around a half a cup of honey and around 3-4 tablespoons of olive oil. It all depends on your hair length. Once again with this one I wouldn’t personally add it to my roots as it may make oily hair greasy.
You can leave this treatment for up to an hour and then rinse.
#3 – OMG Dessert or Disaster
I hate the smell of bananas but this one is worth it, that’s why it’s on my top 5 DIY hair conditioners! You need around 2-3 ripe bananas, obviously again it all depends on you and your hair type. Next make sure you really puree your bananas. If you don’t own a blender you could mash them but the results may not be as effective. Rub in the banana treatment and wait around 10 minutes before rinsing and releasing your amazing conditioned new hair!
#4 Vinegar On My head? Really Lauren?
Apple cider vinegar works a treat on dull and damaged hair. You only need around a tablespoon of the vinegar and a tablespoon of water to make this work. It works a treat if you apply it in a spritz bottle as it doesn’t overpower the hair. This is by far the quickest treatment as it only needs around 3 minutes to work!
#5 Yes, That’s Right. Olive Oil Baby.
Olive oil has magical benefits for your hair, it literally transforms it. All you need is a few drops of Olive oil and water, just rinse it through for shiny, transformed hair!
