My Top 6 Favorite Kat Von D Lipsticks
I am your typical red, nudes and the occasional pinks kinda gal but, as you can see in my Too faced products I want to try post, I want to expand my lipstick horizon.
As you can see from photos on girlversusmakeup.com I am really, really pale. I also have freckles and blue eyes so, i’m not the best candidate for daring, dark lip colors.
Or am I? I have told myself for years and year that I don’t have the confidence to pull off purples or oranges. Which is true I didn’t have the confidence but now I have my blog and I know what works and doesn’t work with my face, why not give something new a try?!
I know of course orange won’t work with me, i’m crossing that off of my Kat Von D lipstick list right now but, I have put together a list of all the colors I love and will try, because why not?
This first color is out of this world. I can just see myself in a checked shirt, ripped skinny jeans and black heels. It’s not too purple where the world would stop for all the wrong reasons, it’s just the shade of purple I have always searched for. It also really compliments blue eyes, hooray Kat Von D!

I’ve spoken about this awesome lipstick before in my Top 5 Red Lips. It’s just such an awesome color and so dark and raspberry like. It’s a red lip, something I said I always use but this one is so different compared to your standard red lip. On a slightly different note, it reminds me when you drink red wine and the insides of your lips go this cool, red color.

This color is completely off the scale, not in my lifetime kind of color. I have never even attempted a pink (unless I was 5 and thought I looked fabulous with the lipsticks you get from magazines). But, negativity is no more this year against lipstick, this year I will try this pink and I will try and pull it off.

Piaf is one of them colors that’s either going to rock and look great or just fail miserably. I’m hoping I can pull it off. But as you can see i’m trying to rock dark colors so, if this works it’ll unlock the rest!

If i’m honest this color scares me the most. It’s like grabbing my comfort zone and throwing it as far as I can in to quicksand. By purchasing this i’m getting pink, purple and sparkles all in one. However, the reviews are amazing and surely they all can’t be wrong? Come at me lullabye!

Have you ever seen anything quite like this color? I certainly haven’t and that’s why it’s in my top 6. It looks nude but it has sparkle and depth. It looks nude but, it’s not nude. It’s beyond nude, I just need to try it.
