Foods that improve beauty

Did you know that there are real foods out there that can help us improve our natural beauty?  – I didn’t either, that’s not until I researched and tried it out for myself. Of course it didn’t stop me from eating chocolate like tomorrow wasn’t ever going to come but, I did notice some changes from eating these foods.

A lot of us have a very unhealthy relationship with food, so for me to find out that some of it can help me out really was like a little warm rub on the back from the universe telling me I shouldn’t feel guilty for eating delicious foods!



1 # Green With A Nutty Center

Avocados! They hydrate your skin and can help out dry/ brittle hair and nails. If you’re like me and can’t eat them on their own, try hiding them in a salsa or even a smoothie! We can’t be missing out on what the rest of the world are getting just because we don’t like the taste!

2 # Berry Nice! 

Blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries are filled with vitamins and antioxidants that help to slow the aging process. They also contain loads of vitamins  that can give us brighter looking skin!

3 # Red, Green And Yellow

Bell peppers are like a god send. Even if you hate them, eat them. Why? well, because they are thought to provide a natural COLLAGEN to the skin and millions of antioxidants and loads of vitamin C for a skin. All of this can reduce the sign of wrinkles and fine lines.



4 # The Poison Tasting Drink…

I hated this stuff, green tea that is. I mean hated it, the smell, the taste, even the look of it! however, I quickly got over that when I saw what it does. It is literally a natural fat burner for the body, it improves the quality of your skin and hair and it can speed up your metabolism. Aim for 3/4 cups a day. I also found loads of different flavors to make it more bearable!

5 # Agua!

Ok, so it’s not a food but, it works. It clears up your skin and can even help with period cramps. Water is well known to be a massive help with everything within us. After all we are partly made up of the stuff…

6 # Pa- pa- pa- papaya! 

There was a study that proved putting more vitamin C in your body (which this stuff is packed with) can help reduce and slow down the appearance of wrinkles.  

#7 Oi Oi Oyster

Oysters are jam packed with Zinc which can help reduce the appearance of acne as it reduces excess oils found int he skin. It may also be able to improve collagen production which, c’mon would be pretty amazing.

#8 Sweet Pot 

Sweet potatoes are also crammed with vitamin C which can help reduce the signs of wrinkles. They’re also so much cheaper than any wrinkle cream, so who knows?  You might be better off stocking up on some sweet potatoes before piling on the cream.

#9 Apples!

The skin is what is jammed with almost all of the antioxidants which of course help not only our skin but our bodies too. Whatever is in the skin can also protect against UVB rays, protecting our skin from the harmful affects of the sun!

#10 All Might Al’ 

Almonds! It’s proven that a handful of Almonds a day boosts levels of vitamin E which is one of the most important vitamins to have in our skin. It’s an antioxidant and visibly improves beauty!
