Top 5 Cruelty Free Foundations
I have learnt enough about makeup over the years to know that a lot brands aren’t cruelty free. Your favorite lippy may just be tested on cute little bunnies and I also know that a lot of people struggle to find cruelty free foundation.
I don’t know why foundation is so hard to find but, it just is.
This got me thinking and so I decided to scower every corner or the internet and makeup store to find the best cruelty free foundations out there for every skin tone.
#1 Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation
Although this foundation is full coverage it does allow you to build on it. It’s not thick or cakey it has a thin feel kind of touch making it natural looking but with a full coverage (does that make sense?!) I wouldn’t recommend to those with really dry skin as it can be quite drying but normal to oily skin will definitely succeed with this cruelty free foundation.
It has an SPF of 15 which is something I always always always look for in Foundations and should always be applied with a foundation brush to make it look flawless.

#2 NYX Stay Matte Powder Foundation
I’m not a huge fan of powder foundations but considering all of the amazing things people have to say about this cruelty free foundation it’s worth a try. It’s also really affordable which makes it even better.
This powder foundation gives you a flawless finish and gorgeous complexion. It won’t give you full coverage but, just like the first foundation it’s buildable and all of NYX cosmetics are cruelty free so, if you need some concealer to give you an extra pop, they are your man.

#3 Too Faced Born This Way Foundation
Too faced is a fantastic company and I am yet to try a ton of their products (you can see which by clicking here!). This born this way cruelty free foundation is so flawless that you can’t see the makeup or the imperfections-just a natural-looking, luminous, flawless complexion.
The born this way foundation is packed with all sorts of amazing things and is meant to improve elasticity in the skin making it a great foundation for more mature skin. (You can see my makeup guide for the over fifties here).

#4 LAVERA Natural Liquid Foundation
I love natural this foundation looks. The bottle looks like the rain-forest just burped it out (sorry! too much?) and decided to turn it in to a flawless foundation.
It’s completely natural and has a great coverage and even comes in darker colors which I LOVE if you are new here, you can check out my makeup for dark skin by clicking here.
I would always recommend using moisturizer before applying this foundation as it’s chemical free it can dry out dry skin, I didn’t mean to make that sound so strange.

This BB beauty balm gives you a natural coverage. It’s perfect for people looking for something natural yet still able to cover imperfections.
