How To Curl Your Eyelashes – Best way To curl Your Eyelashes
Let’s face it, curling your lashes makes ALL of the difference. I can’t live without my eye lash curler (well, I can but it would be a tough life) this little tool just enables my lashes to say ‘HERE I AM!’. I love long, curvy lashes and i’m guessing you to do. I mean let’s face it, who has ever said ‘Long, full looking eyelashes just aren’t for me’, if you have heard someone say that please let me know.
Anyway, I have made a list of my favorite tools and contraptions, some I have used and some I have heard A LOT about so, without anymore hesitation let’s get on.
How To Curl
Firstly, we need to teach you how to curl your lashes. It’s pretty simple really.
When using an eyelash curler grab the lashes with the wand, carefully missing out the skin of the lid and press down for around 10- 15 seconds. When you release your lashes will be perfectly curled!
Now, there are a lot of other ways on how to curl your lashes and i’m going to list them below:

This eyelash curler allows you to curl your eyelashes AFTER mascara application, revolutionary in all sense of the word! However, mine was so warm it actually took some mascara with it so, I would recommend applying it before mascara use.
Heated eye lash curlers are actually, believe it or not a lot easier to use than your regular curlers. Yes you do have the possibility of getting burnt but, if you have ever pinched your eye whilst curling your lashes, which would you rather? I would pick the burn every time. I’m actually joking, I have never ever been burnt from an eyelash curler and I very rarely pinch my skin but, I was just saying…

Eyelash extensions aren’t every ones first choice. They can be fiddly and a little ‘unnatural’ but the extensions I have included above have so many good reviews on how great and natural they are. They don’t seem to be fiddly and people are even swearing by them.
If I didn’t live in such a hot country at the minute I think I could get in to wearing eyelash extensions everyday. Especially if they’re natural looking.

This eyelash curler is a bestseller on amazon, I have it myself and it definitely is one of the best I have tried. I’ve used the Ted Baker one for a while too, which was just as good but, I can’t seem to buy it anywhere individually.
You can feel the professionalism of this one, it has a sturdy grip and really curls your lashes. This is one of those times that paying a dollar or two for an eyelash curler will just cost you more money in the long run.
I have had my eyelash curler for about 6 months now and it’s still going strong. I haven’t even needed to use the replacement pad which, often fall off or break within a few weeks. Definitely a good investment.
Tips ‘n’ Tricks
If you can’t invest in a heated eyelash curler, you can make one yourself. You don’t have to go grab a tool box, but you can DIY and make your own one.
1.
First of all you need an eyelash curler, I recommend my favorite one here. All you then need to do is grab your hair dryer and heat up the curler, it should take around 2 minutes. Once it’s cooled down slightly, proceed to curl your lashes as you would and the heat from the hair dryer will curl your lashes even more, a bit like how a curling tong works.
2.
This next tip is a little ‘wrong’, not wrong in the sense it hurts you but, a lot of people will tell you it’s rubbish and it hurts your lashes. I have been doing it for years and years and I haven’t noticed any bad difference in my lashes but, it is all down to personal preference and if you do try it and your lashes have an injury, don’t blame me.
Anyway, the trick is to apply around 3-4 coats of mascara, once it is dry then curl your lashes. It seems innocent enough but, I have seen all over the internet how your lashes can break off and blah blah blah so, only try it if you’re comfortable. Your lashes get super curled from doing this and last for ages, if you do give it a try, let me know how it goes! (I have been doing it for years and nothing has ever, ever happened to me!) .
