My Beauty Collection Of Body Lotions (Week 2)

By  |

Last week I decided on starting a new ‘series’ on my blog, this series consists of me talking and showing you the different things i own in each ‘beauty category’.

(Last week it was lipstick!)

Like i said in my last blog post, this really isn’t a ‘look what I’ve got’ type of post but a way to talk about and hear other peoples experiences and feelings towards other products. I’m also really nosy and would love to see in to someones beauty collections!

beauty collection

I am obsessed ever so slightly with body lotions. I love them so much, I own far too many and although not a bad struggle, it is a struggle to pick which one to use after every shower!(poor me eh?!).

I am going to talk a little about each body lotion so if you have anything to add please let me know in the comments below!

My Collection Of Body Lotions

These 5 little pots of body lotion are virtually empty, I won’t lie i am keeping them because they are so cute and I feel like the pots will have an ulterior use after they are all empty…

Smoothie Star is my absolute favorite, I am in love with this body lotion.

Orangeasm is a really nice, fruity smell. It’s not my favorite and not one i reach for every single time but it’s nice!

Sugar crush is a body lotion that I have had a love/hate relationship with. I hated it and then i loved it and then I was obsessed and then I was a bit ‘meh’ over it. It’s not one i immediately reach for, but i do like it (at the minute!).

The righteous butter is the original and the legend. Smelling this body lotion just makes me think ‘soap and glory’. I love it, it’s so lovely.

Butter yourself is really nice. It’s fruity just like orangeasm so if you’re not a fruit smelling person you won’t love it.

the body shop pinita colada

These two body lotions are new-ish to my collection. I did a huge review on these two body shop body lotions that you can check out here. I go in to massive detail and pros and cons about these two lotions.

If you’re still wondering, one is Piñita Colada‘ – it smells as good as it sounds and the other ‘Satsuma’. I absolutely adore both of these and every single time i now go in to a body shop these will be mine.

my body lotions

I have these two ginormous tubs of soap and glory body butters. I have had them for a while and they are both only about halfway empty. I believe they are so worth the money.

On the left we have the righteous butter, I cannot say enough good things about this body butter and on the right we have smoothie star (my absolute ride or die body lotion).

my body lotions

I don’t think I have ever talked about my Ted Baker body lotion. It’s actually nearly empty which is sad but it has taken me absolutely ages to get there. I love the smell and the way it makes my skin feel but i do feel like it takes a while to sink in to the skin…

Next to it, the soap and glory tinted body lotion has its own review that you can check out here! . I go in to great depth and let you know my thoughts on it.

dove and sparkle body lotion picture

My last two body lotions aren’t here because they are my least favorite, it just happened that way.

On the left we have Dove summer glow. I only got this in June and it’s safe to say i wish i had bought way more. It keeps my tan topped up and is so moisturizing. I rarely sunbathe during the hottest summer months and this just makes me look sun kissed, i really love it.

Next to it is the ‘Next’ Sparkle. I love the smell of this body lotion, it just reminds me of so many happy memories. It also makes you smell really ‘clean’. It’s called sparkle because it does actually contain glittery particles, they can be a bit ‘much’ if you apply the lotion too liberally but i love them and don’t want this body lotion to run out.

I really hope you enjoyed this new series i’m starting, if you did please let me know in the comments below or let me know about your favorite body lotions.

Thank you for reading,
